Your grocery run is yours.

Graker helps you compare a product with the dietary choices you set and find nearby grocery stores. We collect only what is needed to provide those features.

What we collect

Account and profile. When you create an account, we store your account identifier, sign-in provider, and the profile details you choose to add, such as a display name and a privacy-preserving Canadian postal area or U.S. ZIP area. We do not need or store a full postal code for your profile.

Your food choices. We store dietary presets, nutrient limits, ingredient exclusions, saved lists, list items, and trip plans so they are available with your account.

Scans you submit. A barcode is used to look up a product. If you choose to submit a Nutrition Facts label when product information is missing, we store the label image, barcode, and the data needed to review that submission.

Subscription status. Apple processes purchases. We keep the minimum account-to-subscription information needed to confirm access and maintain aggregate Graker Food Fund records. We do not receive your Apple payment card details.

Location is optional

You can enter a Canadian postal code, U.S. ZIP code, or city to look for grocery stores. You may also choose a one-time location check. In either case, Graker sends the area or requested location to Apple Maps only when you search.

Graker does not run background location tracking, retain device coordinates, or send device coordinates to Supabase. You can use the app without granting location permission.

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Apple and Google authenticate you under their own privacy policies. Graker uses the result to establish your account; we do not use either provider to post, contact people, or access your contacts.

Account data is stored with Supabase, Graker's application data provider. Access is limited to the account that owns the data. A secure local session may remain on your device so you do not have to sign in each time.

How we use it

We use this information to provide your profile, dietary comparisons, saved lists, trip plans, product lookups, nearby-store searches, account access, and subscription access. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Delete your account

In the app, go to Profile → Subscription and choose Delete account. After confirmation, Graker deletes your account, profile, dietary settings, saved presets, scans, lists, plans, and local account snapshots.

We retain only a non-identifying deletion receipt and de-identified records needed for verified Apple transaction and donation auditing. Deleting a Graker account does not cancel an Apple subscription; you can manage subscriptions in your Apple account.
